Freight revenues are 35% below usual due to low draft limitations, in this case only 9 feet, according to the Center for Fluvial and Maritime Shipowners of Paraguay (Cafym). The current conditions are nothing out of the ordinary at this time of year as the river levels are lower, however questions are being asked about the dredging operation.<\/p>\n<p>In the southern part of the hidrovia complex,\u00a0which runs from Asunci\u00f3n to the confluence of the Paran\u00e1 and Paraguay rivers,\u00a0the maximum allowable draft is 14 feet.
