Brazil\u2019s soybean exports are expected to surpass the 16 million tonne mark in March, reinforcing the strong performance of the agribusiness sector at the start of 2026. The projection comes from the National Association of Cereal Exporters (Anec), based on shipment schedules at ports across the country.<\/p>\n
According to the latest data, volumes could reach around 16.3 million tonnes during the month, keeping Brazil among the world\u2019s leading suppliers of the commodity.<\/p>\n
A report by Canal Rural notes that the result represents a recovery after a more moderate performance in February and reflects the progress of the 2025\/26 harvest, as well as strong international demand, particularly from Asian countries.<\/p>\n
Industry estimates indicate that soybean shipments in March should fall within a range of 15 million to nearly 18 million tonnes, highlighting the country\u2019s logistical and production capacity.<\/p>\n
The growth in exports underscores the importance of soybeans in Brazil\u2019s trade balance, as one of the main agribusiness products and a major source of the country\u2019s export revenues.<\/p>\n
In addition, the strong performance is directly linked to the robust crop expected for the 2025\/26 cycle, which could reach record production levels, further strengthening Brazil\u2019s position in the global market.<\/p>\n
